Emag of Efil Mission: Epic Fail or Free Falling Foole?

Posted by on 21/05/2012

Life is filled with so-called fails.  We trip and fall, get toilet paper stuck to our shoes, dance like maniacs, step in dog poop, rip our pants, say stupid things, and do even stupider things.  Then there are the “epic fails.”  The acts so extraordinary that our photos end up pinned and posted and shared, We become tortured tales of fantastic flops.  Our worst fear has come to pass – people are gawking and guffawing at our goofs.

The question is…are these actually fails?  The stars of these stories have proven to be less than perfect at their endeavors.  But really, aren’t we all imperfect?  Haven’t we all fallen at some point?  Why do we have this ridiculous notion that we shouldn’t do that which is clearly in our nature?  Why do we fear falling?

One of the secrets of the Game of Life is that you can neither win nor lose. The fear of falling is a fallacy.  We have been taught that falling = failing = losing.  This is a bogus equation.  The truth is that there is nothing to fail.  Nothing to lose.  But much to gain.  Falling is the best way to learn.  And you can’t level up unless you learn.

Instead of fearing failure, try seeking out ways to fall.  Set yourself free.  Free to fall on your face, fall behind, fall in love, fall between the cracks, fall short, fall for a pack of lies, fall to pieces, fall under someone’s spell, fall up the stairs, fall into a trap, fall off the radar, fall out of bed, fall out of favor, fall over backwards, fall apart, fall flat, fall down, fall overboard, fall off your high horse, and then fall asleep.  And do it all over again the next day.

To fulfill this Bonus Mission, tell us about ways that you have fallen. Give yourself #foolepoints for a Minor Fall and double #foolepoints for an Epic Fall.

Post your Mission Report on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter with #emagofefil #foolepoints #8missions

Let’s celebrate our spectacular foolish falls!

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

[Admin: #myFP 11 for making all-purpose comment spam seem so easy. It truly is a matter we’ll never understand.]

Iwalked around an area with poles all over the place and having my brother guide me through the area. Later on he did what most brothers do hurt their sisters

We’re not sure how we don’t arrive around these posts. We just sort of avoid them and then they appear and we run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
